This type of luminaire offers a major advantage over traditional luminaires since the optical assembly stays fastened by a hinge to the fitter, providing a hands-free approach to servicing and accessing the various internal components. This tool-free access system is integrated into all of our hinged luminaire models.
luminaire opening and ballast access
To open the luminaire, lift the latch and open the globe.
To access the ballast lift the clip and turn the ballast tray counter-clockwise.
Phoetolectric cell
To adjust the photoelectric cell slightly unscrew the four screws and align the photoelectric cell window towards the north.
Lamp replacement
To change the light bulb, turn the cap counter-clockwise and remove the bulb.
